E.M. Pagan Pride & #GIVINGTUESDAY

Greetings!

On this Giving Tuesday I would like to say “Thank you!” to everyone who came out for this year’s Eastern Ma Pagan Pride Festival. We collected so much in food donations they had to send a special truck to pick it up the next day, the one we had wouldn’t fit it all! After a few years of declining attendance it looks like we may have turned a corner. This is due in no small part to everyone who volunteered as staff, presenter, talent and of course our wonderful vendors.

I hear every day from young and old alike, people who are in the broom closet but finally feel comfortable enough to step a foot out, or people willing to explore a new path, explore without fear of repercussion. The individual freedom we promote, the freedom to explore and express your beliefs, is such a worthwhile endeavor!

But make no mistake, our work has just begun. It would be great if organizations like ours no longer were needed, but that is not yet the reality.

Today, we’re launching our 2014 Year-End Campaign. Our goal is to start 2015 even stronger than before. There was no time this year to have external fund raisers and after all the bills are paid we are just over $350 short. If this isn’t remedied soon there is a good chance we may not be able to get the castle again, and those who attended know this location was a big factor in our success.

That’s why we would like to get in the black by December 31st. This would allow us to focus on next year’s event without having to start the New Year playing “catch up”, and allow us to provide even greater service.

If everyone reading this would only donate $2, we would reach our goal in no time. Less than a coffee and a donut!

We simply can’t do it without you. Your support will make a real, lasting impact in the Pagan Community. Please, go to http://www.EMPPD.com, click the PayPal “Donate Now” button (it’s on the bottom of almost every page!) and enter any amount you wish. Every little bit helps!

Thank you for your continued support and friendship.

With gratitude,

Rick Bailly
