It appears though the Holly King is bound to relinquish his hold on the throne, he is not willing to go silently into the silent night if you will. This Yule the Oak King is going to have to earn his reign, and pry the Holly King’s grip off the land phalange by phalange!

Here in the North East we are recovering from 2 snow storms and an ice storm all within just about a weeks time. Our Blessings go out to those still without power and to those who are working to restore it.

It has been a wonderful year and everyone here would like to would like to wish all a blessed Yule and a promising New Year.

ANCHORAGE, Alaska - A grainy YouTube video surfaced Wednesday showing Sarah Palin being blessed in her hometown church three years ago by a Kenyan pastor who prayed for protection from "witchcraft" as she prepared to seek higher office.

The video shows Palin standing before Bishop Thomas Muthee in the pulpit of the Wasilla Assembly of God church, holding her hands open as he asked Jesus Christ to keep her safe from "every form of witchcraft."

Come on, talk to God about this woman. We declare, save her from Satan," Muthee said as two attendants placed their hands on Palin‘s shoulders. "Make her way my God. Bring finances her way even for the campaign in the name of Jesus. ... Use her to turn this nation the other way around."

Palin formally announced her bid for governor a few months later, in October 2005.

Palin does not say anything on the video and keeps her head bowed throughout the blessing. The Republican vice presidential candidate was baptized at the church but stopped attending regularly in 2002.

A spokesman for the McCain campaign declined to comment. A person who answered the phone at the Wasilla church confirmed the video was from May 2005 but declined further comment.

Palin was baptized Roman Catholic as a newborn.

Pentecostals are conservative in their reading of the Bible. Unlike most other Christians — including most evangelicals — Pentecostals believe in "baptism in the Holy Spirit." That can manifest itself through speaking in tongues, modern-day prophesy and faith healing, which includes the laying on of hands.

Maria Comella, a spokeswoman for the McCain-Palin campaign, has said Palin attends different churches and does not consider herself Pentecostal.

Please note that the new location is the Manchester UU Church, located on 669 Union Street. We are in the process now of sending out the word in every avenue we can, but please feel free to pass the word if you are able.

No longer is the Pagan religion only for academic studies. Nor is it a derogatory term to describe non-Christians. Once more Paganism is a positive, spiritual, living faith. STUDY GROUP: 6PM - This session‘s class will be Magic and Ethics. In a nutshell, white magic is good and black magic is evil. Black magic seeks to do harm, while white magic seeks to heal. White magic is about life, and black magic deals with death.

All of these statements are both true and false, from a certain point of view, because the definitions of good and evil magic vary depending upon the observer. Black and white magic only exist when the caster of the spell has a moral code. A good place to start is the so-called Threefold Law of Wiccan Belief: what you put out into the world revisits you three times, for good or ill.

The cookout was awesome, and the circle was most inspiring, despite it’s simplicity. Having everyone at my home wasn’t the horrible anxiety ridden affair I thought it would be. Everyone contributed from the food, the crafts, the company…Special notice to Rebecca for demonstrating the assembly of Corn Dollies (the kids LOVED it!), Dale for bringing and watching Faith while we “did our thing” (she is sooo sweet!), and Michelle for the decedent CHOCLOATE CAKE! Also wanted to welcome our newest celebrity friend, Dee, from Pagan FM radio.

I cant WAIT to see what the next 6 months will bring!

For the better part of 10+ years the MoonPool Coven has held open house in the spring to welcome new members. Due to the success of our recent Open Circles we will not be having an open house, and classes will be starting soon, the schedule to coincide with the circles. This is a curriculum of a year and a day of study for seekers wishing to join the Coven and is only open to new enrollment once per year in June. There is no charge.

If you have questions about the Coven you are invited to attend one of the upcoming open circles. For those who are not local to Southern NH my hope is this will soon allow us to post more and improved classes on the website. Our mission is to assist with each individual‘s spiritual development.
